Zoho CRM Sage and SYSPRO Integration: How to Connect Them
How to integrate Zoho CRM with Sage 300, SYSPRO and Visma eEkonomi: connector, Zoho Flow, Deluge or middleware, API facts, Zoho API limits and design rules.
Connect Zoho CRM to Sage 300, SYSPRO or Visma eEkonomi through their APIs: four routes, what to sync, API limits and rules for a reliable sync.
Zoho CRM connects to Sage 300, SYSPRO and Visma eEkonomi through their APIs, using one of four routes: a ready-made connector from the Zoho Marketplace or a partner, Zoho Flow, custom Deluge functions inside Zoho CRM, or your own middleware. All three accounting and ERP systems expose programmable interfaces. Sage 300 has a REST Web API, SYSPRO offers e.net business objects over REST and SOAP, and Visma eAccounting (called eEkonomi in Sweden) has a REST API with OAuth 2.0. The real work is not the connection. It is deciding which system owns which data, matching records reliably and handling errors.
This guide is for finance and sales operations leaders who run Zoho CRM next to an ERP or accounting package and want quotes, customers, orders and invoices to stay in step. API facts below come from SYSPRO's developer site, the Sage 300 Web API endpoint reference, Visma's developer documentation and Zoho's API limits documentation. Versions differ, so confirm details for your own release before you build.
What should a Zoho CRM and ERP integration sync?
Start from the business flow, not the tool. A typical quote-to-cash loop looks like this:
- Customers and accounts. Usually created in CRM, then pushed to the ERP when a deal is won so finance can bill them. The ERP customer number comes back to CRM and is stored on the account.
- Products and prices. Usually owned by the ERP, copied to CRM so sales quote from the real catalogue.
- Quotes and orders. Created in CRM, converted into a sales order in the ERP when accepted.
- Invoices and payments. Created in the ERP, with status and balance sent back to CRM so account managers see who has paid or is overdue.
- Stock availability. Optional, but valuable for quoting in industries where delivery dates matter.
Agree the system of record for each item and the direction of travel. Our guide to deciding what syncs where between ERP and CRM shows how to do that.
What are your options for connecting Zoho CRM to an ERP?
1. A ready-made connector
A packaged connector is the fastest start if it covers your flows. For example, the Zoho Marketplace lists a Sage 300 SYNC connector by Commercient for Zoho CRM, and Commercient also offers one for Sage Intacct. Packaged tools save build time, but check that they support your version, your custom fields and the direction of sync you need, and understand their licence cost.
2. Zoho Flow
Zoho Flow is Zoho's integration platform, with a large catalogue of app connectors and support for custom API steps. It also offers an on-prem agent that you install on a machine that can reach the on-premises application, so Flow can work with software that sits behind your firewall. Flow suits straightforward flows such as "when a deal is won, create the customer". For complex mapping or heavy volume it can get unwieldy.
3. Deluge functions in Zoho CRM
Zoho CRM lets you run Deluge functions from workflow rules and buttons, calling the ERP's API directly. This keeps everything inside Zoho and works well for light, event-based pushes. It is harder to monitor and retry at scale. Our guide to writing maintainable Deluge code helps keep it tidy.
4. Custom middleware
A small service between the systems gives you queues, retries, logging and field mapping in one place. It is the most work to build and the most robust for two-way syncs, high volumes or finicky ERPs. See Zoho CRM integration architecture that scales.
How do you integrate Zoho CRM with Sage 300?
Sage 300's Web API is a REST-style interface installed alongside the Web Screens. According to Sage's endpoint reference, it exposes Sage 300 data and business logic and is documented through a Swagger UI on your own server, at a path such as /Sage300WebApi. Resources are addressed by company and module, for example the AR customers resource in a given company, and master data endpoints support the usual verbs such as GET, POST, PUT, PATCH and DELETE. Process endpoints let you invoke Sage processes such as posting invoices, and a template call returns a sample payload so you can see what the API expects.
In practice, plan for these points:
- The Web API usually lives on your own server, so Zoho needs a safe route to it: a reverse proxy, VPN or an agent such as Flow's on-prem agent, never an open port.
- Check the version you run, since the Web API was introduced in a particular Sage 300 release and endpoints have changed over time.
- Map Sage's customer, item and order structures to Zoho modules before building anything.
How do you integrate Zoho CRM with SYSPRO?
SYSPRO's integration layer is called e.net Solutions. SYSPRO describes it as a framework that lets developers build custom applications on top of SYSPRO's existing business logic and security, and to integrate with other business systems. It works through business objects, which are predefined functions covering areas such as inventory, purchasing, sales orders and production, and is reached through a WCF service with REST and SOAP endpoints. SYSPRO states that e.net has been version-independent since 2002, so integrations should survive upgrades better than direct database access would.
Practical advice: integrate through the business objects rather than writing into the database, because the objects enforce SYSPRO's rules and security. Choose the business object for each action, for example adding a sales order, and build your middleware or function around that. Keep authentication and the WCF service endpoint behind your network controls.
How do you integrate Zoho CRM with Visma eEkonomi?
Visma eEkonomi is the Swedish name for the eAccounting product, and Visma publishes a REST API for it. Authentication uses OAuth 2.0 with scopes that control access; for example, a sales scope covers customers and sales invoices, and a read-only variant exists for reporting-only integrations. Request only the scopes you need. For Denmark, Visma e-conomic publishes a separate set of open APIs, including customers, products, journals, invoices and webhooks, so check which product your finance team uses before you plan, since the two APIs are different.
Because Visma's APIs are cloud-based, connecting Zoho CRM is usually simpler than with on-premises ERPs: Zoho Flow, Deluge or middleware can call them directly. The details to plan are the OAuth token refresh, VAT and currency handling, and how customer numbers map between the two systems. Swedish-language teams should confirm field names in both systems so reports match.
What do Zoho CRM API limits mean for an ERP sync?
Zoho CRM meters API use with a credit system over a rolling 24-hour window. Each edition has a base allowance plus extra credits per user licence, and a separate concurrency limit caps how many calls can be active at the same moment. A few facts from Zoho's documentation that affect design:
- Most calls cost one credit, but inserting, updating or upserting records costs one credit per ten records, and you can write up to 100 records per call. Batching therefore saves credits.
- Calls made by Deluge functions through integration tasks count toward your credits.
- Concurrency limits rise with edition, from 10 on Standard to 25 on Ultimate/CRM Plus, and some heavier operations have a separate limit.
- Extra credits can be added and billed on a pay-as-you-go basis.
For an ERP sync this means batching writes, avoiding chatty polling, and using event triggers or webhooks instead. See our Zoho CRM data backup guide and Zoho CRM Bulk API options for volume patterns, and webhooks versus the Notification API for triggers.
What design rules keep the integration reliable?
- Store the other system's ID on every synced record. The ERP customer number in CRM, and the CRM account ID in the ERP, let you update rather than duplicate.
- One owner per field. If both systems can edit a field, define which wins, or you will create loops and overwrites.
- Make retries safe. Use idempotency keys so a repeated call does not create a second order.
- Queue and log failures. Failed records go to a review queue with the reason, not into a silent void. See dead letter queue triage.
- Clean the data first. Duplicate accounts in CRM become duplicate customers in the ERP. See Zoho CRM deduplication.
- Test in a sandbox. Use a test company in the ERP and a Zoho sandbox before touching live data. See Zoho CRM sandbox and integration testing.
What should an integration quote include?
When you compare proposals, check that each one states the flows covered and their direction, the system of record for each object, how errors are surfaced and who handles them, how the connection to an on-premises ERP is secured, what happens when an API changes, and who supports it after go-live. A vague "integrate Zoho with Sage" line item hides most of the work.

Frequently asked questions about Zoho CRM ERP integration
Does Zoho CRM integrate with Sage 300?
Yes, through Sage 300's Web API, a marketplace connector such as Commercient's Sage 300 SYNC for Zoho CRM, Zoho Flow or custom middleware. Choose by the complexity of your flows and your Sage version.
Does Zoho CRM integrate with SYSPRO?
Yes. SYSPRO exposes e.net business objects over REST and SOAP endpoints, which middleware or Deluge functions can call. Integrate through those objects rather than the database.
Can Zoho CRM connect to Visma eEkonomi?
Yes. Visma publishes a REST API for eAccounting (eEkonomi) using OAuth 2.0, so Zoho Flow, Deluge or middleware can read customers and create invoices. Denmark's Visma e-conomic uses a different set of open APIs.
How do I connect Zoho CRM to an on-premises ERP safely?
Do not expose the ERP to the internet. Use a VPN, a reverse proxy with authentication or an agent such as Zoho Flow's on-prem agent, which connects outbound over HTTPS so no inbound firewall port needs opening.
Should the ERP or Zoho CRM be the master for customers?
Many teams create customers in CRM and send them to the ERP when a deal is won, then store the ERP number in CRM. Whatever you choose, name one owner per field and document it.
How much does a Zoho CRM ERP integration cost?
It depends on the flows, volumes, the ERP's API and who maintains it. A packaged connector adds a licence fee; custom work adds build and support costs. Ask for a scoped proposal that lists flows, error handling and ongoing support.
