Overview
Unlike traditional address lookup solutions that rely on paid APIs, this extension uses publicly available OpenStreetMap data, meaning:
- No API keys required
- No usage costs
- Faster deployment
- Clean and modern interface
- Easy address selection
Users simply click the Address Search button, search for a location, and the extension automatically fills the CRM address fields.
3. Prerequisites
Before installing the extension, ensure:
- Zoho CRM account
- Administrator privileges
- Marketplace installation permissions
No external services or API subscriptions are required.
4. Installation
- Log in to Zoho CRM.
- Navigate to:
Setup → Marketplace → All
- Search for:
OpenStreetMap Address Auto Complete for Zoho CRM
- Click Install.
- Choose:
- Install for Admins Only
- Install for All Users
- Select Profiles
- Accept the required permissions.
- Click Install.
5. Granting Permissions
During installation, Zoho CRM will request authorization.
Click:
Authorize
The extension requires permission to:
- Read CRM records
- Update CRM records
- Access CRM metadata
- Open widgets inside CRM
No external API credentials are requested.
6. Initial Setup
Once installed:
Navigate to:
Setup → Marketplace → Installed Extensions

The extension is immediately ready to use.

7. Configuring Address Fields
The administrator must map the CRM address fields that will receive the selected address data.
Typical mappings include:

Once saved, the configuration applies to all users with access to the extension.

Step 1

Locate the button:
Address Search
Click the button.
Step 3
A search window opens.
Begin typing an address.
Example:

Search results appear instantly.
Step 4
Select the desired address.
The extension retrieves the address details from OpenStreetMap.
Step 5
Click:
Use Address
The extension automatically populates the configured CRM fields.
Step 6
Save the CRM record.
